The Chief Public Health Officer has rescinded the public health advisory issued on July 17 for Kakisa, Enterprise, Fort Smith, Hay River, Jean-Marie River, Fort Simpson and Fort Providence residents.
Communities of the South Slave region are experiencing cooler temperatures and the forecast suggests the cooler weather will extend into next week. Residents should continue monitoring for Environment Canada weather alerts and plan to protect themselves if extreme heat recurs this summer.
