September 20 is Community Health Representative Day in the NWT, and the Government of the Northwest Territories would like to acknowledge and recognize Community Health Representatives for their contribution to the Northwest Territories health care system.
Community Health Representatives (CHRs) are our community connectors. They connect people with health services. They strengthen community partnerships to promote health programs and activities. And they organize community events to help people understand ways to prevent diseases, and promote healthier lifestyles.
