Families have access to additional resources focused on preservation.
Status Summary
In June 2021, the first round of training for family preservation staff on providing Wrap services was completed.
There are currently 11 family preservation worker positions in the NWT and recruitment for these new positions is underway.
The next phase of the family preservation program is to establish an evaluation framework of the program and this continues to be under development.
