Memo - Pacific Dental Conference Attendees
The Chief Public Health Officer is advising that all NWT attendees at the Pacific Dental Conference in Vancouver, BC on March 5, 6, or 7, 2020 are required to immediately self-isolate for 14 days from March 7, 2020. This request is due to reports of coronavirus disease (COVID-19) confirmed in several attendees at the conference.
If you attended this conference I am advising that in addition to self-isolating, you monitor and immediately report any of the following signs and symptoms of COVID-19 for the duration of the self-isolation period; March 22, 2020.
If you develop fever, cough, or other flu-like symptoms during this time period contact the following:

- Fort Smith: 867-621-2233 or 867-872-0562
- Hay River: 867-874-7201 (between 08:30-16.30). After hours call Emergency Department at 867-874-8050.

If you develop severe symptoms such as difficulty breathing call 9-1-1
If you need to access medical care during this time, call ahead and notify them that you are self-isolating for COVID-19 so that health care staff can use appropriate infection prevention and control precautions.
