The Government of the Northwest Territories will be modernizing the current Stanton Hospital building (now referred to as “Legacy Stanton”) by undergoing extensive renovations set to begin in summer 2019. A lease agreement was signed on October 26, 2017 with Stanton Ventura Inc., making them responsible for marketing, operating and maintaining the Legacy Stanton for the next 20 years.
Once complete, the renovated building will accommodate:
Level One:
- Outpatient Rehabilitation Services
- Integrated Primary Care Services
Level Two:
- Long Term Care
- Commercial Kitchen Space
- Spiritual Space
- Outdoor Patio Space
Level Three:
- Long Term Care
- Extended Care Unit
- Spiritual Space
- Outdoor Patio Space
During the renovation phase, some rehab services will be relocated to the following locations until the new space is ready:
