The person smoking tobacco isn’t the only one affected by the smoke. Second-hand smoke is both the smoke breathed-out by someone who is smoking and the smoke from the burning end of the cigarette, pipe or cigar.
Children have the highest risk of being exposed to second hand smoke, whether it’s at home, in a car or truck.
Everyone exposed to second-hand smoke is put at risk of the same serious health problems as people who smoke.
