This self-directed course developed by the Mental Health Commission of Canada and the Centre for Addiction and Mental Health is designed to help healthcare providers and frontline clinicians identify stigmatizing behaviour, develop strategies to improve patient–provider interactions, and help support their overall care for people with mental health and addiction problems. It is comprised of three interactive modules that focus on raising awareness of stigma, the impacts of stigma, and on challenging stigma and discrimination.
