YELLOWKNIFE January 10, 2022 – The Office of the Chief Public Health Officer (OCPHO) is announcing that community spread is taking place in Délı̨nę. After the 9:00AM cut off for inclusion in the daily update to the GNWT COVID-19 Dashboard, an additional 27 infections were confirmed in the community, bringing the total number of active cases in Délı̨nę to 30. The working from home, remote learning and non-essential travel recommendations outlined in the January 6, 2022, Public Health Advisory (PHA) now also apply to Délı̨nę.
Workplace Outbreak Notification
The OCPHO is declaring a workplace outbreak at the Stanton Territorial Hospital. An outbreak is declared at a worksite when there is onsite transmission of infection that leads to more than one case at the worksite.

All fully vaccinated and non-fully vaccinated should self-monitor for symptoms. If any develops symptoms they should isolate immediately and seek testing if available. All non-fully vaccinated persons should seek a test on Day Four (4) whether symptomatic or not. |
