Adoption

Adoption

In the NWT, our children are our most treasured gift.  Being a parent is a serious commitment that you make in life towards raising and nurturing children, sharing their happiness and pain and passing down your experiences to the next generation. Becoming a parent is not just a privilege, but a duty and obligation to make sure that your child has the tools he or she needs to become successful in life.

Due to different circumstances, children may need to be raised by a family that they were not born into. There are many children in the NWT that are waiting for adoption homes. Every child deserves a safe and loving family.
