Diabetes is a chronic disease where the body is unable to control blood sugar levels. There are three different types of diabetes:
- Type 1, where the body makes no, or very little insulin.
- Type 2, where the body can’t properly use the insulin that it makes.
- Gestational diabetes is a temporary condition where the body can’t properly use the insulin that it makes during pregnancy.
