- If you are a new graduate and not yet registered or licensed in another Canadian jurisdiction, follow these steps:
- Select three referees to complete the reference form:

One must be a Program Director from your residency.

Two must be physicians you’ve worked with in the past three years (e.g., colleagues or supervisors).

Referees must send the completed form directly to the Professional Licensing Office via email at professional_licensing@gov.nt.ca. Incomplete forms will not be accepted.
- Select three referees to complete the reference form:
- Renew Your Medical Licence
- Reinstate Your Medical Licence
- Reinstatement applies 6 months after an annual license has expired.
