Personal Service Establishment Inspections and Permits
Personal service establishments (PSEs) provide services such as hair cutting, tattooing, piercing, massage, and other services as defined in the regulations. Infectious diseases can be passed around if these service providers do not take necessary precautions. The Environmental Health Officer does routine inspections to ensure compliance with the Personal Service Establishment Regulations. This helps prevent infections. These facilities and providers must obtain a permit from Environmental Health before operating.
