The Tobacco and Vapour Products Control Act and Tobacco and Vapour Products Control Regulations outline the rules associated with the use and sale of tobacco products in the NWT. Environmental Health Officers are responsible for conducting inspections of tobacco retailers to ensure that these businesses are in compliance with the legislation.
