Child Day Care Facilities

Environmental Health Officers inspect child day care facilities at least once per year. During inspections, the facility and its operations are assessed for compliance with the Early Learning and Child Care Standards Regulations and the Public Health Act.  Sanitary conditions are checked. Inspection reports are provided to the operators and the Education, Culture and Employment department.
